Greetings to all survivors of OCIP Cambodia 2010, my apologies for the delay but the Blog is now ready for posting. Once again, our sincere thanks to those who made the trip seamless, undoubtedly from weeks of planning to create expeditious check ins, customs clearance, transport, good food (ration excluded), logistics and even mosquitoes management. There must be less than 10 bites on my body. Jon and I have a meaningful time not only as father and son bonding, for new friendship made and having to be blessed by bring some cheer to those in the Orphanage.
God Bless
Tian

Dear All,
ReplyDeleteShawn and myself had a great time. It was made special because of the wonderful team we had with us on this trip.
Our thanks must go to Principal Peter Tan for his support and belief in this project. Special thanks also to Ms Koh and Mr Singh for all the help rendered to the team. Like I said earlier, the fathers were fantastic.. the mother too! But the biggest praise should go to the Boys; from their fund raising efforts to the energy sapping 2 days of packing and shifting and to the hard work put in the Home; our Boys took it all in their stride.
One occassion that had me beaming with pride was during the evening when we hosted the Children to dinner. Our Boys (and Girl)were perfect hosts. It was heartwarmimg to see the Boys taking care of the Children; escorting the Children to the buffet tables and helping them carry their food.
We look forward to the next trip and I am sure we will continue to build on the friendship made.
Shawn & Seb
